My purpose here today, however, is not to review the liar game series but to do comparisons on both mediums (Manga versus Live action) and put forth a recommendation on which medium is the superior one.

Liar Game is the type of series that is overwhelmingly intellectual and even puts “smarter’ series like Death Note to shame. And of course, if you’re a fan of game theory and/or psychology, you’re in for a real threat. It’s definitely one of the smartest shows ever. If you haven’t heard of this series, go watch it now. I think most people have watched the drama adaptation but not the manga so I crafted this (hopefully) helpful post for you guys. Liar Game, if you haven’t heard, is a Japanese drama / live action that was adapted from a manga written by Shinobu Kaitani (also the author of One Outs). With the Korean adaptation of Liar game coming out in a couple of weeks, I’d figured there’s no better time to talk about this.
